This Temple was closed because of a fortune telling fraud case. Its location is hidden deep in Ibaraki Prefecture in the mountains. There are various kinds of buildings in the place, a big main temple, a school to increase the spiritual power, a memorial golden hall, operating facilities, etc.. They were built from the donation money that was collected from lots of deceived Japanese people!! It is terrible!!

このお寺は、霊感商法で摘発された寺の跡地です。たくさんの人をだまし、お布施を集めて建設された詐欺寺です。大きな本堂や運営施設の他に、霊力を高める学校などもあり、あやしさ抜群！

Ce temple a été fermé à la suite d'une affaire de fraude liée à la voyance. Il se trouve caché dans les montagnes de la préfecture d'Ibaraki. Sur place, on trouve divers bâtiments : un grand temple principal, une école pour accroître la puissance spirituelle, une salle d'or commémorative, des installations opérationnelles, etc. Tous ont été construits grâce aux dons collectés auprès de nombreuses personnes japonaises trompées! C'est terrible!

This mini golden hall is a particular favourite of mine! It has lot of Ihai (spirit tablet). An Ihaiis a small rectangular black-painted wooden plate made for each of our deceased ancestors . His or her posthumous name is inscribed on it in golden letters. but I think these Ihai had not been used for memorial services by fraudulent priests. So this room is a very dazzling spectacle! It was such an amazing sight, as if there was a spiritual presence. Do you believe in spiritual power?

この場所には素晴らしい建物が一つあります！それは位牌が何千とある金のお堂です。床は波打ち位牌は崩れかかりっていましたが、私達はそのまばゆい光景に感激し、お布施をしそうになりました。あぶないあぶない！

Cet mini hall d'or est un de mes préférés! Il contient de nombreux Ihai (tablettes spirituelles). Un Ihai est une petite plaque rectangulaire en bois peint en noir, créée pour chaque ancêtre décédé. Son nom posthume est inscrit en lettres d'or. Mais je pense que ces Ihai n'ont pas été utilisés pour des services commémoratifs par des prêtres frauduleux. Cette pièce offre donc un spectacle éblouissant! C'était une vue incroyable, comme si une présence spirituelle était là. Vous croyez en la puissance spirituelle?

After 2 other sites I visited this Abandoned Swindler’s Cult Temple with Fujita-san of SONS OF THE DESERT. We were able to enter the most buildings, but the doors were locked in a strange manner. It suggests that are still some visitors coming here…

SONS OF THE DESERTのフジタ氏と共にこの寺を訪れました。ほとんどの建物の中には入れましたが、不自然に戸締りをしてある場所が多かったので少し不気味な感じ。霊感を高める家には、袈裟やあやしげな本がたくさん、運営施設には押収物が並べられていていました。

Après avoir visité deux autres sites, je suis allé dans ce temple abandonné d'une secte d'escrocs avec Fujita-san de SONS OF THE DESERT. Nous avons pu entrer dans la plupart des bâtiments, mais les portes étaient verrouillées d'une manière étrange, ce qui suggère qu'il y a encore des visiteurs qui viennent ici… Dans la maison destinée à augmenter la spiritualité, il y avait de nombreux kesa (manteaux de moine) et des livres suspects. Dans les installations opérationnelles, des objets saisis étaient disposés.

A temple should never have this kind of power over people! So, I call this place the Swindler’s Cult Temple. Today, there are still a lot of objects that were seized by the police left in the buildings.

今も警察の押収物などが残されていて、当時の事件がどのようなものだったのかを想像できます。

Un temple ne devrait jamais avoir ce genre de pouvoir sur les gens ! C'est pourquoi j'appelle cet endroit le Temple de la Secte d'Escrocs. Aujourd'hui, de nombreux objets saisis par la police sont encore laissés dans les bâtiments, ce qui permet d'imaginer la nature de l'affaire qui a eu lieu à l'époque.

引き続きTomboy Urbexと探索です。
この山奥にある廃墟はその昔、霊感商法で摘発された歴史があります。
強制捜査後にそのまま廃棄されたらしく捜査の痕跡が生々しく残っている物件です。

Nous poursuivons l'exploration avec Tomboy Urbex.
Cette ruine, située au fond des montagnes, a une histoire liée à une affaire de fraude spirituelle qui a conduit à sa saisie.
Après l'enquête forcée, elle a apparemment été abandonnée sur place, et des traces vivantes de l'enquête restent dans le bâtiment.

Continuing the exploration with Tomboy Urbex.
This abandoned place deep in the mountains has a history of being raided for spiritual sales scams in the past.
It seems that after the forced investigation, it was abandoned as is, with traces of the investigation still vividly remaining.

まずはこの地獄のような階段を見てください。
絶対登りたくありませんよね。僕もそうでした。何より急過ぎて万が一転げ落ちたりしたら死んでしまいます。
というわけで、車で後ろに回ります。
いくつかの建物があり、とりあえず近いところから入ってみました。

Tout d'abord, regardez ces escaliers dignes de l'enfer.
Vous ne voulez absolument pas les monter, n'est-ce pas ? Moi non plus. Ce qui est pire, c'est qu'ils sont tellement raides que si jamais je tombe, je pourrais mourir.
Du coup, je fais le tour en voiture par l'arrière.
Il y a plusieurs bâtiments, alors j'ai décidé d'entrer par celui qui était le plus proche.

First, take a look at these hellish stairs.
You definitely don’t want to climb them, right? Neither did I. Most of all, they’re so steep that if you happened to fall, you could die.
So, we decided to drive around to the back.
There are several buildings, so we started by entering the ones closest to us.

人為的なのか、自然なのか不明ですが、雨戸が蹴破られていています。

On ne sait pas si c'est dû à l'homme ou à la nature, mais les volets ont été défoncés.

It’s unclear whether it’s man-made or natural, but the storm shutters have been kicked in.

そこには沢山の詐欺グッズが未だ放置されていました。

Là, de nombreux objets de fraude étaient encore laissés en abandon.

There were still many fraud items left abandoned there.

かなりの山奥ですよ。
さて、続いて大きめの建物へ。

ここもまたものすごいカビの臭いがします。
強制捜査の際の証拠品がそのまま残っています。

At this point, it's over, this place is done for.

・・・・・私たちはとても面白い部屋を見つけました。
そこには無数の、おそらくは５０００個以上の金色に輝く位牌が保管されている場所でした。
その光景は圧巻で期待していなかった物件なだけに大変驚きました。

... Nous avons trouvé une pièce très intéressante.
C'était un endroit où étaient conservées d'innombrables Ihai (tablettes funéraires), probablement plus de 5000, brillantes en or.
Le spectacle était impressionnant et, comme il s'agissait d'un bâtiment auquel je ne m'attendais pas, cela m'a énormément surpris.

...We discovered a very interesting room.
It was a place where countless, probably over 5,000, golden memorial tablets were stored.
The sight was overwhelming, and since we weren’t expecting anything like it, we were truly shocked.
