Il entre dans le temple. C'est le premier visiteur à se balader au 1F après l'apparition du Musée. Avant d'emprunter le couloir face à l'entrée, il repère un parapluie ouvert posé au sol d'une petite pièce situé entre l'escalier et le couloir. Il y est inscrit "総本山 明覚寺" qui signifie "Siège (organisationnel) Temple Myokakuji". Dans le couloir, il trouvera un autre parapluie similaire, ouvert, avec les mêmes inscriptions. Il y aussi plusieurs portes menant à des pièces délabrées.
